Child Abuse Prevention Month

This April, the Township of Wayne, the City of Clifton, the City of Summit, the Borough of Pompton Lakes, the Town of Westfield, and the Township of Cranford all gave their support to Child Focus by proclaiming April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

We are grateful to all of the towns, cities and boroughs that marked this important event — raising awareness about child abuse and pledging to stand against it in our communities, to know how to recognize child abuse when we see it, and to report what we see, is an important part of preventing child abuse.
